 Three of a Perfect Pair
 .
Some time ago I completed a personal piece which took me ages to finish. Hope you'll like the result.

Below you can see a few pics of work in progress. As you can see, I had some help while working on this one:) Additionally, if you want to see more, click here.

 American Illustration 31
 .
Two days ago I learned that the portrait of Roma Gasiorowska which I did for "Przekroj" some time ago will be featured in American Illustration 31 online gallery.
I'm really excited about it as this year's jury consisted of:

Steven Charny - Rolling Stone
Mia Song - Men’s Health
John Gall - Random House
Aviva Michaelov - The New York Times
Jen Bekman - 20×200
Veronica Reo - Young & Rubicam
Paul Sahre - O.O.P.S.

New Year - Henry Rollins

Recently I have neglected the blog a bit as I have been pretty busy with lots of different projects and posted most of my stuff on FB and Behance. Still, as the new year started two weeks ago, maybe I should turn over a new leaf and try to keep this thing more or less up to date. Don't know if this New Year's resolution will work but I'll try (in fact it does not matter so much as the end of the world is coming this year:)

So... what I have posted above is the portrait of Henry Rollins which I did for "Przekrój" last year. To see more, click here. Below you can also see an alternative version (as well as the original drawing):

It is the second time I have drawn Wojtek Smarzowski. The first time was two years ago when "Dom Zły" was released. You can see the first portrait here.

Przekrój - Andrzej Chyra

A portrait of Andrzej Chyra for "Przekrój". To see more, click here.

As usually I used 0.3 mechanical pencils and then coloured the drawing in PS4. At first I drew only the portrait and but after a while I decided to add something more.

 Przekrój - Janusz Oprynski

Another piece published in "Przekrój" some time ago. I decided to make him slightly less colourful than usually and keep the "sketchy" feel. To see more, click here.

Architektura Cover
-
Another piece which I should've posted quite a while ago. The portrayed people are Malgorzata Pizio-Domicz and Antoni Domicz who designed the Center of Art Education in Opole. I decided to incorporate some of the building's interior into the cover design (you can see the photos of the Art Centre on the architects' website here). As usually, I drew everything with 0,3 mechanical pencil in A3+ format.

The nice thing about this cover was the fact that I could apply the selective transparent varnish which I used to hignlight the glass-covered building (photo below).

Back with Jan Peszek

I haven't updated the blog for a very long time as I've been using lots of FB recently to post all the new stuff. Still, I'm back and I'll try to keep everything up-to-date here as well.
So... here comes the first one - another new portrait for "Przekrój". This time it is Jan Peszek. If you want to see more, click here.
